Our client is a government agency serving one of the largest and fastest-growing constituencies in Northern Virginia, focused on enhancing quality of life for residents. The Business Systems Specialist will provide technical support and troubleshooting, set up, install, configure, test, update, and maintain computers, equipment, peripheral devices, and related software and hardware, and coordinate projects. This is a full-time position based in Woodbridge, VA, paying $23.50 per hour.
It is a contract role.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to computer hardware and software
- Set up, install, configure, test, update, and maintain computers, peripheral devices, and related equipment
- Coordinate and support various IT projects
- Learn quickly and work independently after training
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Support networking, system administration, and IT change management activities
- Experience or understanding of networking and system administration
- Knowledge of IT change management procedures
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical certifications related to IT support preferred
