IT QA Tester / Automation
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in API backend Testing, SQL Database Testing, CI/CD pipelines, Selenium
, and Test Validation
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The candidate should have experience working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and Dev Ops teams.
- Own the test strategy and lead a test team on large, complex projects or a major project segment.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and traceability covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze new and complex project problems and devise solutions across methodology, tools, technology, and schedule.
- Provide applications systems analysis and contribute to short and long‑term plans for selection, development, maintenance, and production support.
- Manage defect tracking, triage, and cross‑team resolution coordination.
- Establish quality gates and reporting, and communicate test status and risk to stakeholders.
- Support test automation, environment readiness, and test data management.
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of software testing or quality assurance engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a test team and own strategy on large, complex projects.
- Applications systems analysis and test planning across the full delivery life cycle.
- Defect management and cross‑functional coordination across schedule, tools, and methodology.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship); able to obtain a Public Trust if the contract requires it.
- Test automation frameworks and continuous integration and delivery experience.
- Performance and security testing experience.
- Experience in a federal or other regulated delivery environment.
- VA or VHA program experience, and prior Provider Directory exposure.
Salary range :
Based on experience, qualifications, and location.
