Systems Administrator, Windows Server
Role Overview
RTX Enterprise Services is looking for a System Administrator with hands‑on expertise on Windows 11. The position is onsite in Dulles, VA and requires a TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph. The role involves deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of Windows 11 workstations and related infrastructure.
What You Will Do- Install, configure, and maintain Windows 11 operating systems on workstations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows 11 OS, applications, and hardware issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies via Active Directory.
- Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or a similar endpoint management solution.
- Oversee system updates, BIOS/driver updates, and security patches using Windows Update for Business.
- Automate routine tasks and deployments using Power Shell and other scripting tools.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response.
- Provide technical support to end‑users, resolve tickets, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Test and validate new hardware for Windows 11 compatibility.
- University degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Security+ certification.
- 1+ year of experience with Windows 11.
- U.S. citizenship and a transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI clearance with active polygraph.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds for hardware moves and installations.
- Competitive salary range: $75,800 – $144,200 USD.
