Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and automate the creation of cloud infrastructure in Azure & AWS using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Lead and mentor a team of Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Build and transform towards container and serverless compute architectures (AKS, EKS, Docker, Azure Functions).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and orchestrations across multiple environments.
- Advise, implement, and support adoption of cloud‑native solutions and best practices.
- Build effective observability of managed solutions, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Ensure infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD solutions align with organizational Dev Ops and security patterns and processes.
- Explore new technologies, development patterns, and participate in pilots/POC/technology evaluations.
- Apply SRE principles such as resilience, metrics, capacity planning, toil, incident management, and security.
- Provide input into architecture and engineering standards, and assist in modernizing existing applications.
- Resolve production incidents and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Improve knowledge sharing on automation best practices.
- Participate in on‑call responsibilities in rotation within the Service Delivery and Operations team.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of software‑related experience, including Site Reliability, Dev Ops, Release Engineering, and software engineering in backend services, middleware, or data systems.
- Strong background in software development with experience in Python, .NET, or Java.
- Recent experience with cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting languages (Power Shell & Bash).
- Understanding of core Azure/AWS services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS).
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and configuration management tools.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, or Travis CI.
- Leadership experience managing a team of Dev Ops engineers.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Deep commitment to transforming to a Dev Ops culture, focusing on full lifecycle automation.
- Experience building observability platforms and defining SOPs.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and script automation on Windows and Linux.
- Preferred: experience maintaining highly available, fault‑tolerant cloud‑native systems at scale using IaC automation and CI/CD.
$ – $ USD, eligible for bonus. Actual base salary influenced by skills, experience, and location.
