Salesforce Business Analyst

Requires US citizenship due to clearance requirements. Remote role.

Joining our team remotely to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) activities. As a Salesforce Business Analyst supporting CMS, you will work hand‑in‑hand with our CMS customer to collect business requirements, write them in the Gherkin method, and create system documentation supporting business and IT activities.

• Work with the CMS customer to gather business requirements, write them with the Gherkin method, and produce system documentation.
• Design Salesforce solutions, create and refine complex data models, integrate external systems, automate business processes, and develop custom functionality to meet business needs.
• Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and the application development team, communicating business process analysis through documentation.
• Prepare PowerPoint or written materials to convey solutions to the customer.
• Participate in or lead discussions with the customer, capture high‑quality notes and action items, and incorporate feedback into the next iteration.
• Create clear and concise user stories and review them with the internal technical team and the customer to ensure both parties understand the proposed solution.
• Leverage knowledge of scrum teams and release processes to support the technical discussions and solution design.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Valid Salesforce certification (Salesforce Business Analyst preferred, or Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant).
• Minimum 6+ years of experience working with business processes and re‑engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience capturing requirements and writing using the Gherkin method.
• Minimum 3+ years capturing and writing user stories.
• Minimum 3+ years of business process and business analysis experience in a system engineering or software application environment.
• In‑depth understanding of Salesforce, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud (Portals), LWC, Aura, and Tableau CRM.
• Hands‑on experience using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment.
• Proficiency designing and building reports.

• Valid SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Product Owner or SAFe Agilist).
• Experience working with CMS and/or healthcare policy.
• Experience with data analysis and data quality improvement within Salesforce or another CRM.
• Experience modeling data requirements and performing data analysis.
