Role Overview
The Service Now Administrator will provide essential expertise to help optimize the government’s software footprint, ensure license compliance, reduce costs, and maintain software assets, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency of the software asset lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of software licensing models, IT Asset Management best practices, and possess the technical skills necessary to maximize the value and effectiveness of the software asset management solution.
WhatYou Will Do
The Service Now Administrator will configure, maintain, and optimize all aspects of Service Now SAM Pro, including software models, entitlements, licenses, discovery maps, and software installations. They will also provide support for license reconciliation, potential compliance gaps, and optimization requests.
Why It Might Be a FitThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes and the software asset lifecycle, as well as experience with Service Now SAM Pro and data integration within Service Now. They will also be able to troubleshoot technical issues within Service Now SAM Pro and integrations.
Requirements- Minimum 10 years of experience in Service Now administration and development
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Service Now platform
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Service Now Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro)
- Minimum 1 year of experience with data integration within Service Now
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
