Role Overview The IT Operations Manager will oversee enterprise IT service delivery supporting the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security. This role provides operational leadership across service desk operations, infrastructure management, enterprise applications, cloud services, network operations, and IT lifecycle management activities.
What You Will DoWhat You Will DoManage a 30- to 40-person team conducting day-to-day enterprise IT operations on classified and unclassified environments. Coordinate service desk, infrastructure, application, cloud, and operational support teams. Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Why It Might Be a FitWhy It Might Be a Fit The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of federal IT operations experience, 5+ years leading enterprise IT operations teams, and a strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
RequirementsRequirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
10+ years of federal IT operations experience.
5+ years leading enterprise IT operations teams.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary IT environments including cloud, network, infrastructure, and service desk functions.
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
Active Top Secret clearance; SCI eligible
