Role Overview

The Requirements Analyst II will work with business stakeholders, program managers, and technical teams to gather and refine business, functional, and technical requirements for IT programs and systems. The role involves collaborating with teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, complete, testable, and aligned with program objectives. The analyst will also participate in project planning sessions, requirements workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

You Will Do

The main responsibilities of the Requirements Analyst II include eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business, functional, and technical requirements for IT programs and systems. The analyst will also develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and related artifacts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting IT programs, systems, or technology projects.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, analyzing, and managing business and system requirements.
  • Familiarity with requirements management methodologies, business process analysis, and workflow documentation.
  • Experience developing requirements artifacts such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and traceability matrices.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to get the clearance.
