Network Architect Job Virginia area,Minnesota USA,IT/Tech

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Architect to support a company focused on delivering mission-critical enterprise network architecture and cybersecurity solutions in support of Department of Defense operations. This position is on-site in Honolulu, HI
. The Network Architect will lead the design, implementation, and modernization of secure, scalable network infrastructures supporting classified and unclassified environments.

Responsibilities for the Network Architect include:

Design, architect, and implement secure enterprise network solutions supporting DoD and Joint Command environments.
Develop and maintain network architectures, routing strategies, firewall policies, QoS configurations, and cross-domain solutions.
Collaborate with senior military and civilian leadership to provide technical guidance and strategic network recommendations.
Ensure compliance with DoD architecture frameworks, RMF requirements, and mission-specific operational objectives.

Required Qualifications for the Network Architect include:

10+ years of senior-level network architecture or network engineering experience supporting DoD, Joint Command, or enterprise environments.
Expertise with network architecture, routing protocols, firewall policy management, Quality of Service (QoS), cloud technologies, and cross-domain solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Architecture, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Must possess one or more active certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CAP, SecurityX (formerly CASP+ CE), CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC.
Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.

Compensation for the Network Architect include:

Salary Range: $200,000 - $215,000 depending on experience
