Join our dynamic team as a Video Sign Language Interpreter! Under the guidance of the Communication Center Manager, you will deliver exceptional American Sign Language interpreting services through video in a call center environment. We are looking for interpreters who are fluent in American Sign Language and spoken English, possess strong interpreting skills, and have a solid understanding of the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

• Commit to 12 hours of work weekly (averaged over a 6-week period)
• Successfully pass the company’s interpreting skills assessment
• Complete a mandatory 40-hour New Hire Training

• Deliver effective video relay services and video remote interpreting for consumers
• Uphold and embody the company's mission and values
• Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor
• Exhibit punctuality and preparedness for all shifts
• Maintain a respectful and collaborative flow with colleagues and supervisors
• Ensure timely and accurate record‑keeping
• Adhere to company policies and all FCC regulations
• Quickly adapt to new technologies and multi‑task effectively
• Engage in company-sponsored professional development training
• Meet performance expectations with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills across various settings
• On‑site interpreting may be available based on business need (valid driver’s license and insurance required if driving is needed)

• Fluency in ASL and spoken English
• Ability to provide accurate interpretations
• Understanding of Deaf culture
• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct
• Preferred 3 to 5 years of interpreting experience (not mandatory)
• State licensure or required credentials as applicable
• Must be 18 years or older to apply
