Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to support our attorneys in all aspects of case management. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving sensitive client matters.
Key Responsibilities- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
- Prepare financial statements, child support worksheets, and equitable distribution schedules.
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
- Manage case files and maintain deadlines.
- Communicate with clients and manage attorney calendars.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and third parties.
- Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings.
- Maintain accurate billing entries and time records.
- Minimum 2–3 years of family law paralegal experience preferred.
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of family law procedures and court rules preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
