Role Overview
As a Logistics Operations Support analyst, you will be a member of an Operations Team supporting CONUS and OCONUS Army systems. This vital role is dedicated to ensuring efficient and effective support for logistics operations. The position encompasses a range of responsibilities, including shipping and receiving tasks, tracking, asset management, metric capture, analysis, reporting, failure tracking, and configuration management of system baselines for both hardware and software.
WhatYou Will Do
- Monitor and track all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare equipment shipments
- Ensure accurate documentation and record‑keeping for all shipments
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to resolve any issues or delays
- Manage the lifecycle of assets from procurement to disposal
- Conduct regular audits to ensure asset accuracy and compliance with company policies
This position requires strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, excellent communication and reporting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles, proficiency with database management and inventory operations, and expertise in preparing and receiving equipment shipments are also required.
Requirements- Active TS clearance required, SCI eligible
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of related work experience in logistics, supply, and/or maintenance operations
- Experience with asset management and configuration management
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles
- Proficiency with database management and inventory operations
- Expertise in preparing and receiving equipment shipments
- Ability to rack, wire, connect, install, and perform on‑site testing of system hardware components
