Planning Supervisor

Are you a supply chain professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for inventory planning, purchasing, and operational excellence? We are seeking a Resale Planning Supervisor to lead a team of planners and buyers while driving continuous improvement initiatives across a dynamic supply chain organization.

In this role, you'll partner with Strategic Sourcing, Product Management, Customer Service, Distribution Operations, and Transportation teams to ensure product availability, optimize inventory performance, and support exceptional customer service.

• Lead and develop a team of planning professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Support planning, purchasing, expediting, and inventory management activities to achieve departmental goals and KPIs.
• Analyze planning reports and inventory data to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Transportation, and Distribution teams to resolve shortages, prioritize allocations, and improve fill rates.
• Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to proactively address critical inventory and supply issues.
• Ensure team members have the tools, training, and resources needed to achieve success.
• Monitor and enforce company policies, safety standards, and timekeeping requirements.

• Associate's Degree and/or 5+ years of relevant supply chain, planning, purchasing, or inventory management experience.

• Previous leadership experience with direct reports, including coaching, goal setting, performance management, and employee development.
• Strong background in inventory planning, product planning, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards (AS400) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
