Botetourt County is currently accepting applications for a Sports Maintenance Technician II.The Sports Maintenance Technician II works under the supervision of the Director of Recreation and collaborates closely with the Maintenance Department to maintain and prepare sports fields, equipment, and facilities. This role focuses on the marking and preparation of fields for various sports, managing equipment inventory, and ensuring all equipment is maintained and stored properly. While the Groundskeeping staff will maintain field quality, the Technician will ensure fields and equipment meet program/game‑day specifications.
Ocassional nights and weekends may be required. The technician must be self‑motivated and results‑driven with continual focus on safety, stewardship and quality.
