Responsibilities
  • Overall coordination of project work groups and tracking of all actions and deliverables.
  • Develop, maintain and regularly review the project schedule for accuracy.
  • Create and implement Action/Recovery Plans to address any schedule performance issues.
  • Validate and monitor project metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule) for assigned work segments.
  • Identify and report resource constraints impacting planned work.
  • Identify potential changes to work per the project change management procedure.
  • Work with construction team (Superintendent) to produce a staffing plan and Manpower Loading Forecast (MFL) for the assigned scope.
  • Ensure all required materials and services are identified and ordered, and any material delivery risks are identified with action/recovery plans.
  • Lead a functional team comprising representatives from all project departments, including Construction, Engineering, Client Representatives.
  • Implement the project readiness process for construction execution (e.g., Detailed Window Logic, Readiness Check Sheet Implementation, Report Card Status Reporting).
  • Attend or arrange representation for project planning meetings, integration meetings, internal and customer reporting meetings, etc.
  • Coordinate prerequisite and execution task readiness in accordance with client and station reporting requirements, including schedule and risk review meetings with construction management, supervision, engineering, quality, procurement and subcontractors.
  • Ensure outage readiness milestones are achieved and coordinate readiness meetings.
  • Prepare and populate readiness check sheets based on work window schedules.
  • Capture, assign and prioritize all open items related to work start readiness and work closeout, ensuring stakeholders are held accountable for resolution.
  • Provide status and progress reports to customer, project team and management as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all policies, standards and procedures including Safety, Quality, Code of Conduct and Business Ethics.
  • Support Shift Supervisors and Superintendents with construction execution activities as required.
  • Perform such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  • Develop and write reports, business correspondence.
  • Additional duties as delegated by the Project Director.
