Project Manager – Mission Critical / Data Centers

An established data center developer is seeking a Project Manager to support mission-critical projects in Northern Virginia
. This organization operates millions of square feet of data center space nationwide and is recognized for delivering highly reliable, efficient facilities with a strong focus on long-term performance and uptime.

This is an owner-side role, not a consultant or merchant-build environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects with an emphasis on operational maturity, cost efficiency, schedule control, and lifecycle performance, supporting facilities serving leading financial, technology, and healthcare clients.

The Project Manager will oversee projects from planning through execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and operations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who understands the technical and operational demands of mission-critical environments and can manage work with long-term asset performance in mind.

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for data center construction and improvement projects
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution
• Support delivery of scalable, custom-built data center solutions
• Ensure projects meet high standards for reliability, efficiency, and uptime
• Maintain clear communication across stakeholders and external partners

• Project management experience in mission-critical or data center environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and data center infrastructure
• Experience working with owner/operators or long-term asset-focused organizations a plus
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project scopes

• Work directly for a stable, privately held owner/operator with a long-term development and operations strategy
• Exposure to a large, established mission-critical portfolio with ongoing and future projects
