Head of Vault Operations

Collectors seeks an exceptional Head of Vault Operations to oversee daily operations of our high‑end collectibles site, reporting to VP Fulfillment Operations and based in New Castle, Delaware.

• Lead a Multi‑Entity Operation:
  Oversee complex multi‑business structure supporting distinct business entities and diverse ownership groups, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Own the Operational Vision:
  Strategic direction of all facility operations—policy development, workflow optimization, inventory management, logistics—reflecting precision and care.
• Build and Inspire a High‑Performing Team:
  Recruit, develop, and lead operations and support staff, champion culture of accountability, continuous growth, genuine passion.
• Own Inventory Integrity:
  Drive excellence in warehouse management via WMS (Körber), accurate tracking, cataloging, protection, regular audits, proactive loss/damage/theft prevention.
• Drive Continuous Improvement:
  Seek opportunities to elevate performance through process optimization, technology adoption, innovation.
• Be a Cross‑Functional Partner:
  Operational voice for stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Customer Service, Business Development, Lending, translating business needs into action.
• Own the P&L:
  Full ownership of variable cost management, balancing efficiency with quality.
• Deliver on What Matters:
  Set and hit ambitious KPIs for quality of service and employee engagement, hold team accountable.
• Develop World‑Class Training Programs:
  Design scalable training for new hires and tenured staff driving excellence from day one.
• Model the Standard:
  Lead by example on company policy—safety, security, attendance, culture—creating norm of doing right thing.

• 15+ years proven experience managing fast‑paced operations.
• High‑end collectibles industry or similar fields a plus.
• Strong operations management principles: supply chain, quality control, process improvement.
• Data‑driven accountability with SLA management and performance standards.
• Strategic planning, goal setting, operational excellence implementation.
• 10+ years experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Excellent leadership and team‑building skills, managing managers and motivating teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑centric approach to operations leadership.
• Demonstrated track record delivering superior customer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing through uncertainty and dynamic environment.
• Comfort working with imperfect information.
• Excellent data skills driving continuous improvement.
• Prior experience or interest in trading cards is a bonus.

$145,000 – $165,000, based on location, level, experience, skills. Non‑discriminatory factors apply.
