This role sits within a well‑established water practice focused on supporting public‑sector and utility clients, offering the opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure programs that enhance community resilience and sustainability.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):

Managing the full lifecycle delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, schedule, and budget
Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships with municipal, regional, and government stakeholders
Leading business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client presentations
Supporting regional growth strategies and contributing to broader market planning initiatives
Overseeing multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, design, and technical specialists
Driving project performance through effective planning, financial management, and risk mitigation
Managing contracts, including negotiating terms, monitoring compliance, and overseeing invoicing and payments
Establishing performance goals and leading regular project reviews to ensure delivery excellence
Mentoring and developing team members, supporting performance improvement and career progression
Assisting with recruitment and team expansion to meet evolving project and market needs

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
10–15+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater infrastructure
Proven experience managing complex, high‑value projects within public‑sector or utility environments
Strong business development and client engagement experience
Solid understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics
Experience with contract negotiation, commercial terms, and risk management practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a client‑facing, collaborative environment
