JOB TITLE: Material Handler

2nd Shift | Appling

Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry‑leading innovation and design. Initially focused on golf cars, it expanded to commercial utility vehicles and personal‑use transportation.

Under general supervision, distributes either production or non‑production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in‑process parts, or finished golf cars and utility vehicles.

• Moves parts or finished products and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations.
• Operates material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling carts or may move golf cars and utility vehicles to and from the yard.
• Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures.
• Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner.
• Assists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Maintains a safe and productive work environment by ensuring the work area is clear of tools, brooms, debris, and other items that may present a hazard.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

• High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

• Working knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse operations preferred.

• Mechanical and technical skills.
• Safety management mindset.
• Focus on quality control.
• Problem solving.

• Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
• Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
• Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
