Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator/ Setter join the team at our site in Virginia.

The key focus of this role will be to:

• Perform machine size and style changeovers, troubleshooting to resolve defects and mechanical issues, cleaning, lubricating and general machine maintenance, and fitting new and replacement parts
• Follow changeover process and improve setup time
• Utilizing forklifts with the depot
• Ensure SA depots warehouse inventory is accurate
• Assist in stock counts, cycle counting, stock takes
• Also support our depot in Renmark when required

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

• Multiple years of experience working in a fast-paced machine operator role
• A current forklift license and experience in operating a forklift
• A demonstrated background working in an admin/warehouse/production environment or similar
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience in erecting machine operation and maintenance
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders
