* ** Responsibilities****:
*** Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and safety procedures
* Load raw materials and monitor machine cycles for optimal operation
* Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure conformity to specifications
* Make necessary adjustments to press equipment to maintain quality and output standards
* Interpret production orders, part drawings, and technical specifications
* Perform routine preventive maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
* Maintain accurate documentation for production output, scrap, and downtime
* Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; use PPE as required
* Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within the department

* Required Qualifications:

* Education:

*** High school diploma or GED
*
* Experience:

*** 1+ year of experience operating press machinery in a manufacturing environment
** Skills and

Competencies:

*** Basic understanding of press operations, materials handling, and mechanical adjustments
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Good physical condition (standing for long periods, lifting up to 40lbs, repetitive motion)
* Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical operations
* Familiarity with progressive die and punch press operations
* Forklift certification
* Experience working under Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles
** Work Environment &

Physical Requirements:

*** Manufacturing floor environment: exposure to noise, grease, heat, and moving machinery
* May require shift work, weekends, or overtime based on production demands
* PPE required (gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, etc.)
* Ability to lift and carry up to [e.g., 40 lbs]
* Prolonged standing and manual dexterity
* Visual acuity for inspection and reading measurements
