Ops Associate, Vault; Temp-To-; Shift

About the Role

Operations Associate, The Collectors Vault – New Castle, DE.

Schedule:

Sun‑Wed or Wed‑Sat, 7:00am – 5:30pm.

• Catalog incoming inventory following established style and content rules.
• Determine whether an item has been graded and catalog it appropriately.
• Conduct research on items and communicate with Client Partners about additional services.
• Place inventory into storage locations and maintain systematic tracking.
• Organize picking tickets efficiently to support on‑time shipping.
• Pick and stage inventory for packing and shipping.
• Pack and ship inventory using prescribed methods and generate shipping labels.
• Perform inventory audits to verify correct physical and systematic location.
• Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
• Maintain a safe work environment and perform all related tasks.
• Conduct quality control audits of inventory handling processes.

• Working knowledge of the collections hobby, with specialized understanding of professional sports teams, players, entertainment, pop culture, and historical figures preferred.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines; overtime may be required during auction cycles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time‑management skills.
• Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and adaptability.
• Proficiency with common computer software:
  Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and internet browsers.
• High school diploma or equivalent education background.
• Historical knowledge of sports teams, leagues, players, and milestone events a plus.
• Physical capability to bend, twist, squat, and stand, as well as handle equipment and repetitive computer tasks.

• Bending and twisting of neck/waist; squatting.
• Computer use: typing, mouse work, prolonged sitting, and focus on reading screens.
• Regular hand use for varied tasks.
• Aural ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
• Capacity to use a sharp blade and retrieve items from packaging.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Estimated hourly rate: $17.00/hr actual compensation may vary based on location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.
