* Position Summary:
** This is a second shift opportunity. Hours are a 10-hour shift from 4:30pm to 3am Monday-Thursday with OT, required as needed, on Fridays and Saturdays.
* Production Oversight:
Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards and production schedules.
* Process Optimization:
Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process enhancements.
* Quality Assurance:
Maintain a keen eye for quality control, ensuring that products meet or exceed quality standards at all stages of production. Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and deviations.
* Resource Management:
Effectively allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve production targets. Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of necessary inputs.
* Safety Compliance:
Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety. Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safety-conscious culture among the production team.
* Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including production output, downtime, maintenance logs, and any incidents. Generate relevant reports for management review.
* Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Contribute ideas and lead implementation efforts to streamline processes and reduce waste.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred
* In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.

The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of production operations, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

** Training and Development:
Identify training needs within the production team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Mentor and develop team members to promote career growth.

* Required Qualifications:
** – equivalent experience in manufacturing will be considered. 3-5 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
