Position Description
We are seeking a skilled
Brazerto join our manufacturing team in producing high-qualitychillers for data centers. The Brazerwillbe responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. This position requiresprecision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Hours:
2nd Shift 3:00PM-11:30PM or 3rd Shift 11:00PM-7:30AM
Pay:
Starting Rate is $24.23/hour after 9 months the pay rate will increase to $26.23
Shift differential: 2nd shift $1.00/hr & 3rd shift is $1.50/hr
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of chiller assemblies.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure properassembly.
Set up, adjust, andoperatebrazing torches and related equipment to achieve strong, leak-proof joints.
Inspect joints for quality assurance, ensuring all work meets company and industry standards.
Work closely with welders, assemblers, and quality control teams tomaintainproduction efficiency and accuracy.
Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of torches, gases, and other hazardous materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
Identify and report any defects, material shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.
Required Education & QualificationsHigh school diploma of GED required;technical certification in brazing or welding preferred.
1+ years of brazing experience ina manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in using oxy-acetylene torches and other brazing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbsand work in various positions (standing bending, kneeling, etc.) for extended periods.
Knowledge of safety regulations, including proper handling of gases and personal protective equipment (PPE).
