Job Description Kelly is hiring for a Lab Tech
-Technician, Innovation & Science for a 10-month contract role at Narrows, VA 24124 with our prestigious client.
Job Title:
Lab tech - Technician, Innovation & Science Primary
Location:
3520 Virginia Avenue, Narrows, VA 2412410-month contract - Onsite role
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMPay rate: $20 - 26.78/hr.### Qualifications* :5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process laboratory environment, or hands-on research facility* .Mechanical acumen and chemical handling experience preferred* .
Experience with a motorized pallet jack is preferred* .Employee must be able to work independently with limited instruction* .Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs and move heavy items with assistance occasionally* .Computer skills and the effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel relating to data manipulation and report generation are required.
Responsibilitie
* s:
Provide technical support by operating lab pilot-scale mixers, pumps, tanks, and high speed mechanical processing equipment according to a provided trial plan or procedur
* e.Perform physical and visual quality evaluations. Attention to detail is critica
* l.Review of process controls and data for report out and further optimizatio
* n.Effectively communicate data and trial learnings to coordinator for continuous improve men
* t.Employee will be expected to use initiative and troubleshooting skills to help identify problems and implement corrective actions.
