The Material Handler will be responsible for accurately and safely loading and unloading materials while maintaining material flow to meet company needs.

• Consignment inventory, location to location moves, and inventory adjustments.
• Assist in the cycle counting process as requested.
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks or within the facility.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and notify Inventory Control, Receiving Lead, and Receiving Supervisor of material control issues.
• Work with Inventory Control and Lead(s) during investigations of quality issues, inventory issues, shipping complaints and process improvements.
• Ensure all requested material transfers are completed accurately and on time.
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials in a timely and accurate manner; maintain warehouse documentation and related records.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the distribution department.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years forklift experience.

• 2+ years experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds plus bending, twisting or lifting from awkward positions or in tight spaces; push and pull cases in excess of 200 lb to 800 lb repetitiously.
• Requires standing, using hands to handle objects, tools or controls, and talking or hearing.
• Requires walking, reaching with hands and arms; occasional sitting, stooping, and/or kneeling.
