We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead large-scale MEP-intensive hyperscale data center projects in Virginia focused on delivering complex, high-value mission-critical facilities for global cloud and tech clients.
As Project Executive, you will oversee the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and local authorities to manage MEP systems integration, drive strategy, and provide executive-level oversight across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of hyperscale data center projects, managing teams through all phases of design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Provide strategic direction on MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and controls integration.
- Serve as primary client contact and build long-term relationships with owner representatives and partners.
- Manage budgets exceeding $500M+ with accountability for cost control, risk mitigation, and financial reporting.
- Oversee project staffing, subcontractor management, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across the project.
- Support business development efforts and contribute to repeat work opportunities with key clients.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of construction experience, with a strong track record in mission-critical / hyperscale data center projects.
- Deep expertise in MEP systems design, coordination, and construction delivery.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale, fast-track construction projects.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to operate at executive level.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Willingness to be based in Virginia.
