Tufting Machine Operator Glasgow VA 3rd Shift
- Conducts production checklist and backing verification.
- Compares tufted carpet to griege standard
- Performs quality inspection during production runs, mends voids, and fixes other defects in carpets as required.
- Assists with changing backing
- Doffs off carpet rolls
- Stays informed of applicable OSHA and company guidelines and operating procedures, and proactively identifies unsafe working, and other environmental conditions to supervisor and/or appropriate department head or crew leader for resolution.
- Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
- Follow all established standard operating procedures
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
