AHI, a member of The Baillie Group, is looking for an experienced saw filer to join our team of skilled professionals in North Garden, VA. This is a great opportunity as a first shift saw filer. The position is full‑time and permanent. We believe in continuous improvement for our facilities and our employees.
Saw Shop Filer Pay & Benefits- First Shift
- Full Time Hours
- Overtime Hours and Pay

- Sharpening, repairing and maintaining band saws
- Maintaining saw shop equipment and facilities
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Capable of working efficiently and safely while keeping a high level of precision
- Experience as a machinist considered
- Saw shop experience highly preferred; may be willing to train the right candidate
- Band mill alignment and maintenance experience helpful, but not required
- Must be self‑motivated and organized
