Painter

Cranemasters is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our production team. This position is responsible for properly preparing vehicles and equipment and applying high-quality paint finishes that meet company standards.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare vehicles and equipment for painting (cleaning, sanding, grinding, part removal)
• Mix and apply primer, paint, and finish coats to meet quality specifications
• Operate and maintain spray equipment and tools
• Inspect completed work and perform rework as needed
• Keep paint booths, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Support and guide Painter’s Helpers
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist team members to meet deadlines and quality standards

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of painting experience (Journeyman-level preferred)
• Experience with spray guns and painting equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good communication and basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record (CDL a plus)
• Willingness to be available for emergency call-outs (including weekends/holidays)

• Work in various weather conditions and environments
• Frequent bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to distinguish colors accurately
• Must be comfortable working with paints, chemicals, and solvents
• Ability to wear required PPE, including masks and protective clothing
