Production Associate
The Production Associate plays a vital role in ensuring product quality and supporting smooth daily operations this role, you will demonstrate keen attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to safety while managing production tasks that directly impact our standards and product excellence.
Successful candidates will collaborate with team members to monitor quality, maintain efficiency, and follow safety protocols that protect both the associate and team members. Performance is defined by dedication to consistency and the ability to exceed production benchmarks.
Responsibilities- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
- Participate in company and department safety programs.
- Assist with setting up production lines, palletizing, picking, sanitation, box room operations, and handling totes.
Education and Experience
High school or equivalent not required but preferred. Experience in a distribution warehouse is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors- Ability to tolerate exposure to wet and moist floors, including metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- Ability to stand for an extended period and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection.
- May work in an environment with temperatures between 28–100°F.
- May handle product temperatures between 25–50°F.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50–110 dB.
- May be exposed to dust, feathers, and all chemicals used in poultry processing facility.
- Occasional exposure to carbon dioxide vapors 10 ppm and chlorine less than 20 ppm.
- Base rate of $20.07 per hour with opportunities for pay premiums, shift differentials, and overtime.
- Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).
