Overview

Greystone Corporation operates three plants in the US, one plant in China, and one plant in Poland. We are a world leader in the manufacturing of high precision turned ferrous metal parts and electro‑plating of functional coatings for the automotive industry with a focus on safety‑critical components. The Plant Manager will coordinate and direct the operations, maintenance, quality and engineering departments within a growing facility.

Total plant employment is approximately 100 employees. The Plant Manager will have 6-7 direct reports. We operate 24/6 and all plants maintain IATF 16949:2016 certification.

Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of direct operations leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • B.S. in Engineering with a 3.5 GPA or greater, preferably with a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Proven track record of direct supervision of hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels within customer organizations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Direct P+L responsibility for multiple plant production departments in addition to engineering, quality and product development.
  • Achieve defined sales, operational, safety and environmental goals and standards.
  • Develop new processes to achieve quality improvements and cost reductions.
  • Interface with customers to support quality objectives and develop new business.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.
  • Additional duties as required.
Skills Necessary
  • Proven skills in analytical and operational problem solving.
  • Automotive quality discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop a team‑oriented culture.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong hands‑on mechanical and chemical process knowledge.
