WhatYou'll Do
- Weld, fabricate, repair, and modify metal forms, molds, and production equipment used in concrete pipe manufacturing
- Build and repair forms, tooling, and other components needed to support production operations
- Perform metal cutting, fitting, grinding, and fabrication using a variety of shop tools and equipment
- Inspect forms and equipment for wear or damage and complete repairs as needed
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Work with production and maintenance teams to address equipment and tooling issues
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and productivity
- 1-3 years of welding, fabrication, or related industrial experience
- Experience with welding, metal fabrication, and steel form repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, use measuring tools, and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Experience using welding equipment, metal cutting torches, saws, grinders, and other fabrication tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated safe work habits and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational Degree Preferred
