* Duties & Responsibilities:

** Job Summary    As a Production Test Technician at Viavi Solutions Inc., you will be responsible for performing a variety of tests and inspections on optical and electronic components and systems, ensuring product quality and adherence to specifications before shipment.

Job Responsibilities      Execute defined test procedures on various optical and electronic products and sub-assemblies using specialized test equipment.
Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation to the component level on failed units, utilizing schematics, block diagrams, and other technical documentation.
Record and document test results accurately in the designated manufacturing execution systems (MES) and databases.
Identify and report product defects, anomalies, and recurring issues to engineering and quality assurance teams.
Collaborate with production and engineering staff to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Maintain and calibrate test equipment according to established schedules and procedures.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the production environment.
Assist in the training of new technicians on test procedures and equipment operation.
Job Qualifications      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
