HII - Australia is seeking a Sustainment Systems & Planning Lead to join the team! This opportunity will be based out of Canberra, Australia
. This position will provide integrated planning and scheduling capability that aligns operational demand, engineering constraints, and sustainment delivery across the enterprise and partner organisations.
- Develop and manage integrated master schedules (FCD, LOTE, fleet operations).
- Align maintenance planning with operational demand and engineering constraints.
- Integrate ILS frameworks and support systems across partners.
- Implement repeatable planning processes aligned to US/UK models.
- Enable data-driven decision-making and performance reporting.
- 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
- 8+ years in sustainment planning, scheduling, or ILS.
- Experience building and managing:
- Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Multi-stakeholder planning frameworks.
- Working knowledge of US submarine sustainment processes, preferably SSN/VCS.
- Experience integrating:
- Engineering constraints.
- Operational demand.
- Maintenance schedules.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision support capability.
- Experience with in NAVSEA planning systems or submarine program offices.
- Familiarity with ILS frameworks (LSA, provisioning, maintenance planning) in US DoD context.
- Prior work with CSS or TYCOM Maintenance organizations, shipyards, SUPSHIP, or intermediate maintenance activities.
- Prior Shipyard Engineer, Super-JO, Project Superintendent, STE, EDMC, or 3MC.
- Experience deploying repeatable planning models across organisations.
- Proficiency in advanced planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent enterprise systems).
