We are looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible for leading a team in a specific area in Operations by coordinating the activities of department workers and performing the following duties.

• Lead and direct manufacturing teams; promote SQDC (Safety‑Quality‑Delivery‑Cost) and Lean responsiveness.
• Conduct daily huddle meetings focused on area performance.
• Drive continuous improvement through standard work, built‑in quality and small‑lot presentation to the line.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality.
• Lead group problem‑solving teams and apply PDCA (Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act) to resolve work problems.
• Act as a backup performer for group tasks.
• Maintain efficiency levels in accordance with the Annual Operating Plan.
• Prepare and execute daily start‑up plans.
• Update and maintain the cross‑functional training matrix.
• Maintain hourly performance boards and visual displays with input and variance causes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering to ensure on‑time delivery to customers or other departments through Kaizen processes.
• Lead and document daily Kaizen activities.
• Conduct continuous level load scheduling.
• Coordinate material scheduling and kitting to avoid shortages.
• Maintain 6S standards and operator PM checklists.
• Represent absenteeism and sustain standard work procedures, visual boards and controls.
• Achieve efficiency levels of 90 % or better.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Over 3 years of related experience.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and AS400 or similar systems.

• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with AS400.

• Lift, pull or push up to 50 lb. up to 50 % of the shift.
• Stand, walk, bend or twist for prolonged periods up to 10 hours per day.
• Perform repetitive motions on a machine up to 40 % of the shift.

• Flexibility, mechanical aptitude, quick learning, problem‑solving, detail orientation, time management, interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, safety‑first orientation, high performer, multitasking with accuracy.
• Analytical reasoning, reading tape measures, understanding fractions and decimals.
• Understanding of 6S, reading job specifications, reaching, bending, kneeling and crawling, hearing and vision.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment and be a team‑oriented individual who is adaptable to change.
