- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten and adjust parts with precision
- Assemble mechanical systems including pneumatic systems and various conveyor assemblies as instructed
- Maintain all 5S standards
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering, supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- 2 years of experience in a mechanical or production environment
- Must have own basic tools (English and Metric tool sets are recommended)
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assemblies is required
Experience in industrial automation preferred - Basic computer skills required
- Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, along with hands-on experience in assembling mechanical systems and troubleshooting assembly issues. Strong adherence to quality standards and 5S practices is essential.
