Jet Press Operator - Previous experience w Halm Press ​/ Super Jet

Job Purpose:

To print envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime

• READ entire work Order
• Pull Correct stock for order
• Pull or mix ink for order
• Set up 3  or 6  press to run order with correct plates, stock, ink.
• Position print image on envelope per proof, Match color to PMS book, Running 1 up, 2 up or 4 up
• Have someone else check work for position, color before running order
• Package envelopes back into cartons, label cartons for shipping with furnished labels.
• Follow company procedures for filling out labels and label the cartons
• Fill out production paperwork and pull samples as directed
• Identify machine malfunctions, troubleshoot, and correct in a timely manner
• Notify a supervisor promptly when machines need maintenance/repairs
• Perform routine maintenance and general repairs
• Duties include standing for most of the shift, repetitive hand & wrist motions, reaching with hands and arms, regular lifting of up to 25 pounds, and working overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time
• Execute the responsibilities of this position following company safety policies and company procedures
