Salary Range: $30.00 - $38.00

Job Description: Busy, high quality sheetfed printing company in VA is hiring an experienced Lead Offset Press Operator for 12 hour night shift.

• Lead the night shift sheetfed team in printing jobs meeting company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime.
• Make ready 40" press for job runs to meet specifications, and/or press adjustments prior to production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the job.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the sheetfed team to ensure tasks are completed on-time and effectively.
• Assist pressroom manager and pressman with troubleshooting printing issues and QC sign offs.
• Train, develop and motivate team members.
• Assist pressroom manager and maintenance in the upkeep of machine activity logs and part usage logs.
• Work with the pressroom manager and plant manager on continuous improvement projects.

• Minimum 7
  -1 0 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" sheetfed offset presses.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using Continuous Improvement Methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Press employee training experience.
• Team building skills.
• UV experience a plus.
• PC proficient (basic skills).

Starting hourly rate $30 - $38 + shift differential, benefits, 401k match and relocation assistance.
