Job Description
Job Title: Machine Operator (Fabricator)
Company: Water Technologies Solutions
Location: Norfolk, VA
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: 6:00am-2:45pm Monday-Friday. Some Saturdays as needed
Key Responsibilities- Operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, drill presses, belt sanders, band saws, bench grinders, and ironworkers.
- Fabricate and assemble components for specialized water treatment systems.
- Pipe-fit various materials, such as PVC, CPVC, fiberglass, and stainless steel.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform confined space entry in small tanks (14x18 manways) as needed.
- Travel for field repairs and installation as required.
- Maintain required records and reports.
- Previous experience with industrial machinery and fabrication equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to safely perform physical tasks and operate tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Comfortable with confined space entry and possible travel.
- Overtime is paid according to local regulations.
- No travel expenses reimbursed.
