This role plays an important part in machining precision components used in valve systems, safety valve repair, and industrial field service applications. The work is hands-on, highly practical, and focused on supporting demanding industrial environments where quality, turnaround time, and reliability matter.

Unlike repetitive production environments, this position offers a variety of machining work tied directly to real-world industrial repair and maintenance operations.

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate both CNC and manual machining equipment
• Machine precision parts used in industrial valve repair and manufacturing
• Work with lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
• Select tooling, fixtures, inserts, and work holding for each project
• Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and setups to maintain quality and efficiency
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, supervisors, and service teams
• Maintain accurate production and job documentation
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional shop environment

Depending on the project, you may machine:

• Stainless steel
• Carbon steel
• Alloy steel
• Industrial valve components and related materials

• 5-7 years of machining experience preferred
• Strong understanding of CNC and manual machining processes
• Experience setting up and operating machining equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, inserts, and machining accessories
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong math and geometry skills
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented attitude

• Experience in industrial repair machining environments
• Valve repair or rotating equipment experience
• Technical schooling or machining certifications
