The Work You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you will:
- Set up and operate both CNC and manual machining equipment
- Machine precision parts used in industrial valve repair and manufacturing
- Work with lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specifications
- Select tooling, fixtures, inserts, and work holding for each project
- Adjust feeds, speeds, offsets, and setups to maintain quality and efficiency
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, supervisors, and service teams
- Maintain accurate production and job documentation
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and professional shop environment

What We’re Looking For Required- 5-7 years of machining experience preferred
- Strong understanding of CNC and manual machining processes
- Experience setting up and operating machining equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, inserts, and machining accessories
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong math and geometry skills
- Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented attitude
- Experience in industrial repair machining environments
- Valve repair or rotating equipment experience
- Technical schooling or machining certifications
