The OpportunityThe Field Marketing Manager owns the planning, coordination, execution, and measurement of field marketing programs that support pipeline creation, customer engagement, and regional business priorities. This role manages cross-functional processes and programs rather than direct reports and reports to the Director of Field Marketing.
This is an individual-contributor role with ownership of processes, programs, and cross-functional execution
, rather than direct people management. The Manager is expected to create structure, drive accountability, coordinate stakeholders, and continuously improve the operating model within the assigned marketing workstream.
- Translate regional and business priorities into integrated field marketing plans, calendars, and program briefs.
- Own the end-to-end operational process for field events, executive programs, customer experiences, partner activities, and other regional campaigns.
- Coordinate timelines, dependencies, budgets, vendors, agencies, venues, creative assets, logistics, and internal approvals.
- Partner with Sales, SDR/BDR, Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and other stakeholders to align programs to pipeline and revenue objectives.
- Develop clear program requirements, project plans, RACI/ownership models, and communication cadences to keep stakeholders aligned.
- Manage lead capture, routing, follow-up, campaign attribution, and post-event processes in partnership with Marketing Operations and Sales.
- Track program performance, including attendance, engagement, sourced/influenced pipeline, conversion, cost efficiency, and other agreed KPIs.
- Maintain a field marketing calendar and ensure program status, risks, decisions, and next steps are visible to stakeholders.
- Manage external vendors and partners through defined scopes, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations.
- Identify process improvements that increase program quality, scalability, consistency, and operational efficiency.
- Capture lessons learned and build reusable playbooks, templates, and best practices for future programs.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to the Director of Field Marketing.
- 4+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, events, integrated marketing, or a related discipline.
- Strong project and program management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work streams and deadlines.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales and other cross-functional teams in a pipeline-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, vendor-management, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfort working with budgets, timelines, performance metrics, and operational details.
- Ability to turn ambiguous business objectives into structured plans and executable programs.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms and familiarity with campaign tracking and attribution concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
- Field programs are delivered on time, within budget, and against agreed objectives.
- Sales and marketing stakeholders have clear visibility into program plans, ownership, timelines, and follow up.
