About the Role
This Program & Consumer Support Specialist will provide administrative and communications support, helping keep day-to-day operations of Fairfax County Youth MOVE organized and running smoothly. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to build skills in nonprofit and human services work. This position will report to the Director of Behavioral Health Support Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain data trackers — check weekly to ensure updated, and reach out to responsible parties to complete any outstanding data
- Monitor FCYM Instagram and JSSA email, responding to inquiries or looping in the appropriate parties as needed
- Assist with advertising panels and events using Constant Contact and Canva
- Support Youth Development Coordinator in creating sign-up forms and evaluations for panels, and in sending continuing education
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong computer skills — able to navigate or willing to learn Canva, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, and basic-to-intermediate Excel
- Highly organized
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Interest in learning more about human services and nonprofit functioning is a plus
Schedule
- Hybrid position
- Flexible work hours, outside of weekly supervision meetings and biweekly team meetings
Salary: $24.57 per hour
