PART TIME Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - OB Clinic

Cross Over Healthcare Ministry provides compassionate, high-quality healthcare services to uninsured and Medicaid patients in Central Virginia. With locations in Richmond and Henrico County, Cross Over serves over 7,000 patients annually, offering primary care for children and adults, alongside in-house dental, vision, mental health, and pharmacy services. Supported by more than 500 volunteers, Cross Over also provides specialty care, including maternity care and chronic disease management.

This part-time role is for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at the Obstetrics Clinic located in Henrico, VA. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive prenatal, postpartum, and general women’s health care to patients. The clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including volunteer medical professionals, to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. Additional responsibilities may include performing routine exams, managing patient care plans, educating patients on reproductive health, and contributing to the overall wellness of the patient population.

This is an on-site position requiring regular interaction with patients and staff.

• 1-2 years experience in prenatal, postpartum, and women’s health care
• Proficiency in conducting exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing patient care plans
• Strong communication and patient education skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with diverse populations
• Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary medical team
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Virginia
• Commitment to serving underprivileged populations and promoting health education
