Thriveworks is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners licensed and resident in the state of practice.
CompensationFee for Service (W2) position. Salary range varies by location and expected 25‑35 clinical hours per week.
Pharmacologic approach: stimulant medications are offered as an option based on client symptoms; prescribing decisions are clinician discretion. Substance use disorders are not currently treated; referrals to in‑person providers are made as needed.
Role OverviewProvide treatment to a diverse population (adults and adolescents) with conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc. Telemedicine capacity across the lifespan.
Qualifications- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.
- Master’s in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state.
- Experience in psychiatry: minimum 1 year (three years a plus).
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD EMR (a plus).
- Completion of in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification exam (required for all new hires).
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations via telemedicine.
- Provide care to clients aged 14 and older.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
- Create collaborative care plans with clients.
- Complete necessary paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on client programs and services.
