Job Description
Healthy Minds Therapy is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high‑quality patient care as part of our thriving mental health private practice.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating counselors or specialists regarding patient care
- Licensed in Virginia with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification
- DEA Certification
- Experience working with adult and/or child and adolescent populations
- Experience in both medication management and therapy
