Job Overview
Travel Nurse Source is partnering with AMN Healthcare to place a PACU/Pre‑Post Op RN in Salem, VA 24153. Registered Nurse – Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU RN) – travel nursing.
Start date:
12/15/2025. Available shift: 12
D. Pay: $1,611.42 to $1,775.85 per week.
Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care for a variety of surgical patients including interventional, CT, open heart, total joint, cholecystectomy, urology, pediatric oral, spine, and hysterectomy cases. Perform accurate IV access, monitor patient status, administer medications, and support patient recovery in an ambulatory setting.
Required Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) with PACU experience
- Concurrently valid SSN and date of birth for credentialing
- Work history demonstrating no more than a 90‑day hiatus in the last year
- Experience with IV placement in an ambulatory surgery environment
- Proficiency with Meditech system
