Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

Position Responsibilities

• Provide onsite LPN services to VA patients in support of nursing and nursing support operations.
• Deliver skilled nursing care in assigned care settings, which may include intermediate care, nursing home care, psychiatric patient populations, or other units as directed.
• Administer and document medications in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and changes in condition to the RN or physician.
• Collaborate with care teams across units, including ambulatory care, critical care, nursing home, and emergency room support as directed.
• Document care in VA systems and comply with privacy, HIPAA, and medical record requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct, patient safety, and customer service standards in a federal healthcare environment.

• Current, active LPN license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia, in good standing and free of restrictions.
• Graduate of a state‑approved school of practical or vocational nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA credentialing and privileging approval.
• Ability to complete required VA training and security requirements before start.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and federal holidays as scheduled.

• Permanent Resident/Green Card holder with a Social Security Number and must have resided within the United States for the past three years;
