Williamsburg, VA. Shift: Third (Nights) - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. with rotating weekends.

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Telemetry unit. This is a full-time night shift position with a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 for qualified candidates.

• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Apply sound clinical judgment to address complex health situations, consult with the medical team as needed, and document all care per regulatory and organizational standards.

Unique 6-month program automatically enrolling any RN with less than 12 months experience or transitioning to a new practice area. Includes:

• General Nursing Orientation
• Specialty Clinical Track Residency

• Mentoring and unit-based preceptors

• Education:
  
  Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required);
  Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) or MSN preferred.
• Certification/Licensure:
  Registered nursing license (required). Students in process of obtaining license also eligible.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience:
  
  None required; 1 year of acute care (preferred); previous healthcare experience preferred.
