Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse on the Medical Telemetry unit. This is a part‑time day shift position (Hours 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. with rotating weekends). Sign‑on bonus up to $15,000 available for qualified candidates.

• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post‑discharge care.
• Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient conditions, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions.
• Utilize sound clinical judgment to address complex health situations, consult with medical team members as needed, and document all care in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

• Unique 6‑month program for RNs with less than 12 months experience or those transitioning to a new practice area.
• Includes general nursing orientation, specialty clinical track residency, professional development sessions, and mentoring with unit‑based preceptors.

• Education: Degree or diploma in registered nursing (required). Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or MSN preferred. Students completing an accredited nursing program considered.
• Certification/Licensure: Registered nursing license required. Students obtaining license considered.
• Experience: None required, 1 year of acute care preferred, previous healthcare experience preferred.
